What is Audiotex?

This is a voice response application that enables users to enter and fetch information over a phone call. Different call centres have deployed the Audiotex in their phone systems where pre-recorded messages are available in the menu for the callers to select. The idea is to provide convenience to the callers by presenting a number of options to choose from. Call centre owners typically provide dynamic information in Audiotex for a large caller base to reduce stress on agents. The term is also known as Audiotext in the call centre sector.
